The Hampshire Wedding Boot Fair offers a modern element to the traditional wedding fayre. At the event you can visit around 40 stalls with newlyweds offering their special unique mix of wedding items for sale, local wedding suppliers showing a variety of new on trend ideas & simply classic and DIY tips galore.  

Of course no event would be complete without refreshments available, a free goody bag for brides2b as well as free parking.  You are sure to enjoy your visit! If your visiting alone or with your bride tribe, there is no need to pre-book, simply turn up and join us on the day. (Unless you fancy pre-booking VIP tickets)

About the event

For brides & grooms to be, it's the opportunity to create your dream wedding no matter what your style or budget. Inspiration and ideas can be found from the hand selected wedding suppliers offering their services to complete your day.  For the thrifty couple, you can bargain hunt thousands of pre-loved wedding items from newlyweds and their special day. You will also enjoy live entertainment, demonstrations and more!  As it's indoors as well as outdoors and a marquee, you can stay warm and dry whilst browsing around. Food and refreshments available on the day.

Free goody bags are given to the first 250 brides to be, filled with supplier info and treats. On the day it's just £2 for entry and there is no need to pre-book. VIP early entry is £5 (limited numbers), these must be pre-booked via the website.  Entry for VIP's is thirty minutes before the main doors open to the public, a gorgeous VIP goody bag with extra special contents... plus a drink on arrival for the bride to be. Open to buyers from 11:00am untill 3:00pm with VIP entry at 10:30am.

If you are a wedding business you can be sure of a lovely busy event with a buzzing, yet relaxed atmosphere. We like to encourage a variety of businesses both small and large. This gives brides to be a more exciting  and valuable experience.  The Hampshire Wedding Boot Fair gives you the opportunity to reach brides to be, not only looking for bargains but also inspiration and services to complete their special day.

Hants Events are holding this years wedding boot fairs at the Lockswood Hall in The Locks Heath Shopping Village, Southampton. We are holding four fairs throughout the year and we greatly hope to be returning to the wonderful Victoria House in Hamble in 2021.

Wedding Boot Fair FAQs

What time can buyers arrive?


Buyers can arrive from 11:00am and the event closes at 3:00pm. VIP brides2b tickets allow early access from 10:30am.




What can you sell?


Brides are invited to sell pre-loved & nearly new wedding items; from wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, favours, sweet carts, mother of the bride, jewellery, chair covers, bunting, table decorations, accessories and much, much more. You have a space of 6ft in length by approx 2-2.5ft in width, plus enough space to sit behind (only 2 people behind each stand allowed).

We offer spaces for wedding businesses & services to promote and sell. Brides2b like to see a variety of stalls, but also appreciate seeing a few of the same type for comparisons. With this in mind, we cannot offer exclusivity to any stallholders, however we also like to keep duplicate stalls to a minimum in order to promote fairness to all businesses.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund your booking if you have not followed the correct procedures prior to booking. Please fill in the pre-booking enquiry form on this page, or email hantsevents@yahoo.co.uk to request a stall and give a description and photo of your business or service.

  • Brides - £23 for a 6ft space (bring own table)
  • Hanging Rail Space (2ft x 3ft-bring your own hanging rail up to 4ft) - £5

Some limited spaces in other sizes / situations may become available, check the booking page for details.
Leaflets/Flyers Distribution – If you are unable to attend our wedding boot fair, but would like to be involved, you can advertise within our Free to brides2b Goody Bags. These are given to brides2b only on entry and often on a display table also, for anyone to pick-up at the event. (250 Goody Bags) Please note however; if you are a stallholder at the event, this is already included within the exhibition fee!




Do I have to bring my own table?


Yes, but you can hire a six foot table for just £5 if you like. Exhibitors must cover their table with a white tablecloth (depending on which size table booked) - (Cloth size for a 6ft table is 90' x 132'). Brides will have a plain white table covering provided on the day. We supply at least one or two chairs for each space free of charge, inside only.




What about Parking?


The venue has plenty of FREE parking.




Is there disabled access?


There is very good disabled access to the event with disabled toilets and parking readily available.




Can I cancel my booking?


Cancellations We understand you may need to cancel your bookings for whatever reason. Please advise of of your cancellation via telephone or email in the first instance. Unfortunately we can not transfer bookings so if you have to cancel for any reason, here is our cancellation and refund policy:

  • If you decide to cancel part or all of your booking up to 14 days before the event, a refund can be requested via email to: hantsevents@yahoo.co.uk. There is a £5 (Brides) or £15 (Businesses) administration fee per booking. This covers all and any unrecoverable charges, fees and costs involved.
  • For cancellations made within 14 days commencement of the event, you will receive 50% of the booking refunded.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days or less of the commencement of the event are not entitled to refunds.
  • Bookings are non transferable.
  • Hants Events at our sole discretion may cancel any booking at any given time without giving a reason in such case the Exhibitor’s payment will be refunded in full.
  • Should Hants Events be forced to cancel due to circumstances outside of their control, (extreme weather, acts of god etc.) refunds will be subject to the terms of the cancellation, also the opportunity to transfer the booking to a new event , should the need arise.
Hants Events accept no responsibility for any costs incurred by the Exhibitor for staffing, travel, printing or any other related preparation expenses, if the event does not take place for any reason. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility to obtain its own Event Cancellation Insurance to cover such situations but we strongly hope this will not be the case.




Can I bring a hanging rail?


You are welcome to bring a hanging rail to sell clothes. But you will need to book extra space for your rail! This space will provide enough room for a 2-4ft hanging rail. You can book an additional space to bring your own hanging rail, please make sure you add this option when you book. We also have hanging rails available to hire.




What time does it close?


The sale will finish no earlier than 3:00pm. No packing away is permitted before this time.

How many stalls will there be?


We have approximately 40 stalls at each Wedding Boot Fair.




How do you advertise the event?


Glad you ask!

  • A minimum of ten thousand of flyers printed throughout the year and delivered by hand to the local area.
  • Cross-promotion with flyers all our other Hants events.
  • Regular adverts within local magazines and newspapers.
  • Social media sites including sponsored adverts to spread the word to thousands of people around Hampshire and further afield.
  • Advertise on various websites that inform the public of events as well as wedding related sites.
  • Posters & flyers delivered to local businesses.

We are always looking for new ways to expand the reputation of all our events and welcome any input.




How can I pay for a space?


If your a bride, simply book as soon as you like! You can pay in either of these ways: 1. In person at any of our other events with cash. 2. Right here on the website using debit or credit card. 3. Phone us and we will process your booking via debit or credit card. For wedding exhibitors and businesses, please complete the online pre-booking form and wait for confirmation to book. Then you can book as above option 1,2,3.

What do I do before I book?


Brides selling preloved & nearly new just go ahead and secure your space! You can book on the website. Request to Exhibit for Wedding Suppliers & Businesses Send an email requesting which date you wish to attend, your business details including your web site address to hantsevents@yahoo.co.uk . These are not confirmation of a booking with us. We will send an email of confirmation to you once availability has been decided, then you can proceed with booking. We aim to do this as quickly as possible. Hants Events reserve the right to accept or refuse any application for a booking without giving any reason.




Do I need any insurances or certificates?


We recommend that all business stallholders have their own public liability insurance when attending any event. While we hold our own PLI, this does not cover you or your stall.




Do I have to pre-book tickets to visit?


No, simply turn up on the day and pay on the door. VIP tickets will need to be pre-booked.

Our Fairs offer very competative and affordable prices but don't compromise on quality, which reflects in the attendance, repeat bookings and following. Our events attract around 700 visitors plus, so if you are thinking of selling or exhibiting you can be sure of a wide audience. If your looking to visit then this speaks volumes of its popularity.
