About The Event
The Hampshire Wedding Boot Fair is so much more on trend & fun than a traditional wedding fair. Yes, a bridal event & boot fair giving a wonderful vibe and great results, THE EVENT to buy & sell all your wedding items!
Couples, Brides2b & Visitors On the day you can see in excess of 40 stalls also including local wedding suppliers showing off quirky, vintage, rustic & NEW on trend ideas. Brides will be offering their pre-loved wedding items for sale as well as simply classic and D.I.Y tips galore.
For brides & grooms to be, it's the opportunity to create your dream wedding no matter what your style or budget is. Inspiration and ideas can be found from the hand selected wedding suppliers offering their services to complete your day. You may also enjoy live entertainment and refreshments. As it's indoors, the show will go on no matter what the weather! Free goody bags for the first few hundred visiting brides2b, filled with supplier info, wedding magazines and treats. On the day £2 entry, no need to pre-book. VIP tickets are available at £5 (limited availability). These must be pre-booked via our website.

The event opens to visitors from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm with VIP entry at 10:30 am.
Brides Selling For the brides who have already been married, the wedding boot fair is the perfect way to pass on the special and wonderful items you put together and enjoyed. It not only inspires new brides2b but it offers them the opportunity to create their own wedding whilst promoting re-wearing, reusing & recycling. But best of all you get to earn some useful cash back for yourself! It's very exciting seeing others enjoy items that made your day extra special! Each event attracts hundreds and hundreds of visitors so you wont be short of buyers!
Wedding Services & Businesses Exhibitors Wedding Services are an integral part of this event! Couples visit to enjoy a great event offering a vast range of styles, budgets and ideas. The Wedding Boot Fair element affords thrifty couples the chance to find bargains and inspiration as well as promoting recycling and vintage trends. The atmosphere is always electric and friendly, without the sometimes 'stuffy' feeling that traditionally wedding fairs were renowned for offering. We found a large amount of couples prefer the relaxed feel and typically spend longer searching & discussing their needs when they don't feel 'pressured'. We hold up to four wedding boot fair events a year, therefore spaces do get booked up quickly. They are always extremely well attended with around 500 - 700 visitors at each one and gaining more interest with each event!
We have had fantastic feedback from all our wedding businesses and services who have previously exhibited. They reported that the atmosphere is wonderful and also re-book because they are happy with the results. Hants Events intend to keep costs as low as possible as we enjoy encouraging local and small businesses as well as more established ones. This however, does not reflect on the quality or amount of effort that this event is afforded keeping standards high.
Marketing It's imperative to us for the event to be busy! One method to achieve great exposure is using the largest platform of promotion being social media to advertise our events. Our Facebook pages have thousands of followers and we invest in targeted sponsored adverts, to find interested couples, exhibitors and families. The Hants Events Web Site has lots of traffic encouraging bookings which can be made directly on the our site. This ensures visitors a smooth experience and avoids leaving to a third party tickets agency. A minimum of ten thousand leaflets are printed and delivered around the area. Posters are sent to local wedding related businesses and areas of interest. The event is advertised in wedding magazines, local magazines also throughout wedding events & wedding fair sites. We also hold many other events throughout the year allowing us to promote the wedding fair at these throughout the year.

Leaflets/Flyers Distribution – If you are unable to attend our wedding boot fair, but would like to be involved, you can advertise within our Free to brides2b Goody Bags. These are given to brides2b only on entry and often on a display table also, for anyone to pick-up at the event. (upto 250 Goody Bags) Please note however; if you are a stallholder at the event, this is already included within the exhibition fee!
Sellers Sellers have plenty of time to set up before visitors arrive from 9:00 am and need to be ready for 10:30 am. Park right outside the venue, unload, set up your table space, park your car and be ready for the event to open!
You will have a six foot space to bring your own table, we will provide two chairs per space. For those planning on selling clothes too, you will need to book an additional space to bring your own hanging rail ( ft). Alll wedding exhibitors excluding brides, need PLI (public liability insurance) valid on the day of the event. Please bring your paperwork with you on the day for inspection.
Terms & Conditions of Booking When you complete a booking and make payment, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility to obtain their own event cancellation insurance and we recommend doing so.
Request to Exhibit for Wedding Suppliers & Businesses A Pre-booking Form must be completed online at www.hantsevents.co.uk and must contain all the information requested. Alternatively, send an email requesting which date you wish to attend, your business details including your web site address to email@example.com . These are not confirmation of a booking with us. We will send an email of confirmation to you once availability has been decided, then you can proceed with booking. We aim to do this as quickly as possible. Hants Events reserve the right to accept or refuse any application for a booking without giving any reason.
Bookings For brides selling pre-loved wedding items etc, there is no requirement to complete a pre-booking form. When wedding exhibitors have received the go ahead to book they may do so online. The booking system is hosted by Wix the website provider, directly to us. When booking full payment must be made. You can book directly online or via telephone: 01329 484148. Cancellations We understand you may need to cancel your bookings for whatever reason. Please advise of of your cancellation via telephone or email in the first instance. Unfortunately we can not transfer bookings so if you have to cancel for any reason, here is our cancellation and refund policy:
- If you decide to cancel part or all of your booking up to 14 days before the event, a refund can be requested via email to: email@example.com. There is a £5 (Brides) or £15 (Businesses) administration fee per booking. This covers all and any unrecoverable charges, fees and costs involved.
- For cancellations made within 14 days commencement of the event, you will receive 50% of the booking refunded.
- Cancellations made within 7 days or less of the commencement of the event are not entitled to refunds.
- Bookings are non transferable.
- Hants Events at our sole discretion may cancel any booking at any given time without giving a reason in such case the Exhibitor’s payment will be refunded in full.
- Should Hants Events be forced to cancel due to circumstances outside of their control, (extreme weather, acts of god etc.) refunds will be subject to the terms of the cancellation, also the opportunity to transfer the booking to a new event , should the need arise. Hants Events accept no responsibility for any costs incurred by the Exhibitor fore staffing, travel, printing or any other related preparation expenses, if the event does not take place for any reason. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility to obtain its own Event Cancellation Insurance to cover such situations but we strongly hope this will not be the case.
Allocation of Exhibitor Space(s) Stand space(s) will be allocated by Hants Events, although every effort will be made to accommodate an Exhibitors request(s) this cannot be guaranteed, we reserve the right to assign space as we determine beneficial to this event, taking into consideration all other Exhibitors and their requirements but particularly the impact any requests may make on the overall event.
If an Exhibitor is not present by 10:00 am which is 30 minutes prior to the event start time, they forfeit their allocated space. How the space is then allocated is at the sole discretion of Hants Events. All exhibitors agree to only occupy the space they have selected and paid for on their booking form. If the Exhibitor, for whom the space was originally allocated to, arrives after 10:00 am they are no longer entitled to this space and may be offered an alternative space, possibly differing in size, if available and at the sole discretion of Hants Events. No refunds may be given.
Guidelines & Information Exhibitors may only promote/exhibit (including the distribution of marketing material from their stand) the business(s) that they have detailed on their Pre-Booking Form or email and cannot promote details of another business that is not their own, without prior permission from Hants Events. This also applies to promoting other wedding related events that the Exhibitor may be attending or that would be in conflict with the event at which they are exhibiting with Hants Events. Hants Events offers all Exhibitors the opportunity to provide an additional quantity of flyers/marketing material, to be distributed in the free goody bags, given to the first 250 brides2b upon entry. There are no additional charges for these services and the offer does not have to be accepted. There may also be a facility to display additional material on a communal display table or selected area. Advertising in any other areas is not permitted in such a manner to cause annoyance or disturbance to fellow exhibitors or visitors. Such flyers MUST be delivered to Hants Events up to 7 days before the event. Any not with us by this date may not be included in the bags. Please request the address to send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Admission Admission charges for visitors apply as detailed at the entrance/registration of the event and/or as listed on the Hants Events website. Admission may be refused to any person that Hants Events does not wish to attend the fair, without giving any reason. As an Exhibitor, if you have arranged for a customer to collect an item directly from you whilst you are Exhibiting at the event, they will need to pay the admission charge to attend the event. Exhibitors do not pay entry fees (max two per table). Further exhibitors will ned to pay the admission fee onthe day or beforehand with the booking.
Conduct of Exhibitors Hants Events reserve the right to stop any activity on the part of an Exhibitor that may cause annoyance to other Exhibitors or visitors. Business must be conducted only from the Exhibitors’ own stand and under no circumstances may this be carried out from elsewhere in the Exhibition. We will not tolerate any conduct or behaviour that is seen to be inappropriate, discriminatory or offensive to other exhibitors, venue or visitors to the event. The Exhibitor must not encroach upon exits, corridors or walkways, articles may be removed by Hants Events, with no responsibility on its part for any loss or damage by such removal. Hants Events reserve the right to remove any Exhibitor in the case of failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions and there shall be no refund of payment if such action is deemed necessary by the us or the venue. Any damages caused by the exhibitor to the venue or equipment (tables, chairs, table cloths etc) will have to be paid for by the exhibitor.
General Event Information Hants Events will be in touch with the Exhibitors by e-mail in advance of the event as to the details of the fair including details such as arrival times and procedures, setting up, security, parking and other important details. The information contained in such email will replace any previous information sent regarding the procedures at the Fair. It is the Exhibitors responsibility to familiarise themselves with the contents of such e-mails and to ensure that such information is passed on to their team, we would also advise exhibitors to confirm receipt of any emails to them.
Exhibitors must arrive within the specified set-up times and displays must be complete and ready 15 minutes prior to the published fairs commencement time for VIP entry.
Exhibitors are not allowed to dismantle their display prior to the published closing time, either partially or completely. If an Exhibitor has to leave the event at any given time during the fairs operating times, for a non-emergency related reason, prior notification must be given to Hants Events in writing which may mean that Hants Events relocates the Exhibitors positioning within the event, to lessen any impact on the Fairs ambience and as not to cause any general disruption to other Exhibitors. No refunds will be given if the new space allocated is smaller than the Exhibitor originally booked. Please note that apart from in an unavoidable emergency situation (where we would generally ask that the Exhibitor leave their display intact if at all possible and we will oversee dismantling and secure storage) any Exhibitor who opts to ignore our policy regarding packing away early, will be under scrutiny in future bookings.
All display materials must be completely removed from the venue at the end of the event, it is the Exhibitors responsibility to ensure that they have all of their possessions. All Exhibitors must leave their space free of rubbish and must remove any rubbish they or their visitors may have generated and dispose thereof properly.
Free Refreshments All bride sellers and exhibitors who have booked a space to sell on the day can enjoy free unlimited refreshments and light snacks throughout the day! This includes teas, coffees, hot chocolates, soft drinks, light snacks and fruit. Each person must bring their own cup along on the day for own use (helping us doing our bit for the environment!)
Health & Safety, Fire, and General Standards Exhibitors must adhere to all fire, health, safety laws and regulations. Aisles and fire exits must be kept clear at all times. Exhibitors must also comply with rules and regulations prescribed by the venue. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to assist at Exhibitors stands during opening times of the event. Any Exhibitors offering products and services within the food industry must be registered with their local environmental health authority and hold all relevant certificates and consents, which must also be available for inspection if requested.
All helium gas cylinders must be removed from the premises immediately after the balloon display has been constructed and remain in the relevant Exhibitors storage facility (namely the
