You are invited to attend a fun packed event on Saturday 17th August 2019, meeting lots of animals, reptiles, exotic pets, join in with a fun dog show & so much more. There will be plenty of pet retail therapy to keep everyone and age happy! Demonstrations, food & refreshments, get your dog photographed on the day, birds of prey, rescues & charities, ferret racing, children's entertainment & more... Spend the day relaxing in the grounds with food, drinks, watching everyone have fun!


A really fun time out for everyone of any age who loves pets of all types, Hampshire Pet Fair & Fun Dog Show at Victoria House, Hamble Lane, Southampton, Hampshire, SO31 4TS.

We've packed as many different types of pets, animals and fun in the event as we can!  Every year we will add something new! Whether you are old or young, have your own pets or looking to own one for the first time, this fair is a great opportunity to meet and learn about different types of animals with some expert advice from exhibitors and others at the event. Plenty of animal encounters on the day some with demonstrations.

There are lots of goodies and pet related items to buy for both you and your pet. Even your own dog is welcome to come along!  We do ask they are well behaved and on a lead at all times. Plus a Fun Dog show and plenty of children's entertainment, food and refreshments. You can expect on the day to see:

The event is open to visitors from 10:00am untill 4:00pm. Free parking all day. Entry Prices for visitors on the day are as follows, cash or card payments excepted.

  • Adult - £6
  • Under 12 years - £4
  • Under 2's - Free
  • Concessions - £5

The prices are to enter and visit all areas of the pet fair both inside & outside; and also include at no extra cost interaction with;

  1. The mobile Animal farm (Including animals such as Llamas, piglets, lambs, chickens, chicks, rabbits etc.) for free throughout the day
  2. The Birds of Prey on display throughout the day & flying or handling displays
  3. The Gundog displays & Dog training sessions
  4. The Reptile, Amphibian & Exotics Displays
  5. Face Painting for Children & some entertainment
  6. Free Parking

The Dog Show is £2 per dog per class to enter. 

There maybe other optional areas of entertainment that will incur small fees that are not included in your ticket price.

Unfortunately, there is always a slim possibility of a display or exhibitor/stand cancelling due to unforeseen circumstances of which are out of our control.  Animals welfare will always come first in decisions made.  Whilst we are hopeful & confident this won't happen, we will notify you on this website of any changes where possible.  We would also add a disclaimer that should any display pull out at the last minute or day, we cannot be held responsible and whilst this would be disappointing, there will still be many other displays, fun and plenty of animals and stands to see.  Please make sure if you have children they are with you at all times and supervised when handling or petting of any animals.  Thank you and enjoy the day!

The Venue

A very pleasant surprise awaits you at Victoria House. This historic Grade II listed building is nestled on the edge of The Royal Victoria Country Park in Hamble which boasts beautiful views and extensive grounds.

Victoria House was built in 1866 and remains virtually unchanged to this day.  Nested in a stunning location, you will see wildlife such as deer, countless varieties of birds, beautiful trees and extensive grounds.  The perfect venue for a lovely family day out. 

As it's indoors & outdoors, you can stay warm and dry should the weather be unpredictable during the day.   Facilities at this stunning venue including toilets, refreshments & food, free parking, seating areas

The first Pet Fair was in 2014.  They are always extremely well attended with approximately 2-3,000 visitors at each one and gaining more interest with each event!

Outdoor stands must provide their own gazebos, tables, chairs, etc. Each Space includes 2 Adult admission tickets (wristbands). Further tickets for extra helpers can be pre-purchased for £3 adults. Wristbands must be worn by all stallholders throughout the day.



Sellers have plenty of time to set up before visitors arrive from 8:00 am and need to be ready for 09:45 am. Park right outside the venue, unload, set up your table space, park your car and be ready for the event to open! 

You will be provided with a 4 ft or 6 ft table plus two chairs to use on the day included in the fee if INDOORS only.  All exhibitors need PLI (public liability insurance) valid on the day of the event. Please bring your paperwork with you on the day for inspection.

Terms & Conditions of Booking 

When you complete a booking and make payment, you are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility to obtain their own event cancellation insurance and we recommend doing so.

Request to Exhibit for Suppliers & Businesses

A Pre-booking Form must be completed online at and must contain all the information requested. Alternatively, send an email requesting which event you wish to attend, your business details including your web site address to .  These are not confirmation of a booking with us.  We will send an email of confirmation to you once availability has been decided, then you can proceed with booking. We aim to do this as quickly as possible. Hants Events reserve the right to accept or refuse any application for a booking without giving any reason. 


When exhibitors have received the go ahead to book they may do so online.

Show Guide - Advertising

On the day, Hampshire Pet Fair will be giving out a Free Pet Fair Guide/program to visitors.  This will be A5 size and will have the following information:


  • What's happening during the day, including some photos
  • Sponsor's details  
  • A map of where certain attractions are situated inside and outside
  • Some fun facts for all ages & more

This is an ideal platform to advertise your business or charity/rescue in more detail for everyone to see and take away your contact details. Why not have discounts, offers or vouchers available that can be used on or after the day? 

Perhaps you're a local business who would like to advertise despite not being able to attend the show.  Prices are simple and help towards the print of 3,000 minimum printed guides. All in full colour!


We understand you may need to cancel your bookings for whatever reason.  Please advise of of your cancellation via telephone or email in the first instance.  Unfortunately we can not transfer bookings so if you have to cancel for any reason, here is our cancellation and refund policy:

  • If you decide to cancel part or all of your booking up to 14 days before the event, a refund can be requested via email to: There is a £10 administration fee per booking. This covers all and any unrecoverable charges, fees and costs involved.
  • For cancellations made within 14 days commencement of the event, you will receive 50% of the booking refunded.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days or less of the commencement of the event are not entitled to refunds.
  • Bookings are non transferable.
  • Hants Events at our sole discretion may cancel any booking at any given time without giving a reason in such case the Exhibitor’s payment will be refunded in full. 
  • Should Hants Events be forced to cancel due to circumstances outside of their control, (extreme weather, acts of god etc.) refunds will be subject to the terms of the cancellation, also the opportunity to transfer the booking to a new event , should the need arise. Hants Events accept no responsibility for any costs incurred by the Exhibitor fore staffing, travel, printing or any other related preparation expenses, if the event does not take place for any reason. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility to obtain its own Event Cancellation Insurance to cover such situations but we strongly hope this will not be the case.

Allocation of Exhibitor Space(s)

Stand space(s) will be allocated by Hants Events, although every effort will be made to accommodate an Exhibitors request(s) this cannot be guaranteed, we reserve the right to assign space as we determine beneficial to this event, taking into consideration all other Exhibitors and their requirements but particularly the impact any requests may make on the overall event. 

If an Exhibitor is not present by 9:30 am which is 30 minutes of the event start time, they forfeit their allocated space.  How the space is then allocated is at the sole discretion of Hants Events. All exhibitors agree to only occupy the space they have selected and paid for on their booking form. If the Exhibitor, for whom the space was originally allocated to, arrives after 9:30 am they are no longer entitled to this space and may be offered an alternative space, possibly differing in size, if available
